I am really lost as to why President Donald Trump and his subordinates would try and limit the total number of people that have been affected by this ban of his. Trump's travel ban has really affected a lot of people in so many ways.

Trump tweeted that only 109 people out of 325,000 were detained and held for questioning. But this is really not the case especially since this ban has been placed on seven different countries

 A total number of 348 people were prevented from boarding the plane. Or should I talk about those people in the U.S. that cannot leave because of this ban? Or those green card holders that have also been affected? Or even those denied entry into the country once the plane landed?

Trump's "109" figure is an understatement that we all need to realize.

According to Washington post this is the actual number of people that Trump's ban has affected so far (both nonimmigrant and immigrant visas)
